Summary of Work Performed this week: 10/10/2009

Monday, 10-05-09, MFCC pipefitters began working the 30-inch piping from the Clarifier
discharge. The carpenters removed forms from the U.V. foundation and have begun installing
sole plates for the wall forms. The carpenters completed installing the shoring and decking
package for the influent meter vault and set the hatchways for the access. The finishers
relocated to the Headworks to rub and finish the south wall for the painters. The labor crew
continued cleaning and removing all materials from the Aeration Basin. The carpenters began removing
form hardware from the southwest RAS room walls.
Notes: Site is very muddy and work conditions are slow. |

Tuesday, 10-06-09, MFCC pipefitters continued working the 30-inch piping from the Clarifier
discharge. The carpenters continued installing sole plates for the walls forms for the U.V.
channels. The carpenters completed installing the shoring and decking package for the
influent meter vault and set the hatchways for the access. The finishers continued to rub and
patch the Headworks south wall for the painters. The labor crew worked dewatering the
plant site. The carpenters continued removing form hardware from the southwest RAS room walls.
Note: Due to the heavy rains, the site is very muddy and working conditions are slow. The
project rained out at 11:00 a.m. |

Wednesday, 10-07-09, MFCC pipefitters continued working the 30-inch piping installation
from the Clarifier discharge. The carpenters began installing wall forms for the U.V. channels.
The carpenters placed 4yds of concrete for the top of the influent meter vault. The finishers
continued to rub and patch the Headworks south wall for the painters. The labor crew
worked dewatering the plant site. The finishers continued to patch the upper
Aeration Basin walls. The carpenters began removing gang forms from the southwest RAS
room walls. The carpenters worked installing shoring and forms for the A-B pass beams.

Thursday, 10-08-09, MFCC pipefitters completed working the 30-inch piping installation from
the Clarifier discharge and placed the thrust collar. The carpenters continued installing wall
forms for the U.V. channels. The carpenters placed 7yds of concrete for the outer walls at the
U.V. channels. The finishers continued to rub and patch the Headworks south wall for the
painters. The labor crew worked de-watering the plant site. The finishers continued to patch
and the upper Aeration Basin walls. The carpenters began installing gang forms from
the southeast RAS room walls. The carpenters worked installing shoring and forms for the AB
pass beams. The pipefitters completed the tie-in of the under drain at the Filter building and
the Clarifier.

Friday, 10-09-09, MFCC performed no construction activities today. Heavy rains all day and
they rained out the site before 7:00 a.m.

Electrique Corporation: Subcontractor E.C. completed installing under slab conduits for the U.V. building MCC room. They relocated to the Odor Control building and began installing conduits for the wall receptacles. |
Jocon Incorporated Building Erectors: Subcontractor
Jocon worked all week installing the roof for the Filter Building. |
Midwest Coatings: Subcontractor Midwest Coatings completed priming and painting the interior of the Odor Control building
walls. They worked clean-up and removing tape and plastic wrapping from the Odor Control
building steel. |
DMG Masonry: Subcontractor DMG worked power washing the brick veneer of the Odor Control building. They have begun installing the brick veneer for the Headworks north face of the building. |
Henley Construction: Subcontractor Henley started installing wall-B the first course behind the Admin building. The installation is complete with shale backfill and all required density testing completed per specification. |
