Contract II: Construction of Wastewater Treatment Facility

Summary of Work Performed this week: 10/24/2009

MFCC: General Contractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 4 Foreman, 5 Operators, 10 Carpenters, 3
Pipefitters, 11 Carpenter Helpers, 11 Laborers
Max Foote Construction Co. worked a six day work week.

Monday, 10-19-09,
MFCC operators removed and cleaned spoils from the Administration
building area. Carpenters continued to work the installation of forms for the interior U.V.
channels. Finishers placed 9.5yds of concrete for the inner U.V. building channel walls. Field
tests were conducted; A/E=4.5, SL=4-inch, Temp=75 degrees. Carpenters continued to
remove forms and shoring for the C-pass beams and relocate to the A-pass beam area. The
carpenters continued installing formwork for the southeast Aeration upper jumper walls on
the east and south wall. Carpenters began installing forms for the Aeration Basin outfall box.
The finishers continued working cleaning and patching the upper Aeration Basin walls.

Tuesday, 10-20-09,
MFCC operators and pipefitters began installing the 6-inch drain
piping from the Odor Control building to MH-6. Carpenters continued to work the
installation of forms for the interior U.V. channels. Finishers placed 37yds of concrete for the
upper southwest Aeration Basin wall. Field test were conducted; A/E=4.5, SL=2-inch,
Temp=79 degrees. Super–P was added to the mix. Finishers placed 8yds of concrete for the
two beams on the south end of B-pass. The carpenters completed installing formwork for the
southeast Aeration upper jumper wall. Carpenters continued installing forms for the Aeration
Basin outfall box. The finishers continued working and cleaning and patching the upper
Aeration Basin walls.

Wednesday, 10-21-09,
MFCC operators and pipefitters began backfilling and compacting
the area around the influent Magnetic Meter Vault and the North Buffer Zone. Carpenters
backfilled the void areas of the U.V. channels with sand and compaction preparing to form
and pour the U.V. decks. Finishers placed 10yds of flowable fill for the U.V. MCC under slab
conduits. Carpenters began installing the shoring package for the A-pass beams. Carpenters
began installing the shoring package for the Clarifier drive deck. Carpenters continued
installing wall forms for the Aeration Basin outfall box. The finishers continued working
cleaning and patching the upper Aeration Basin walls.

Thursday, 10-22-09,
MFCC rained out at 9:00 a.m. with heavy rains. No measurable
production was performed.

Friday, 10-23-09,
MFCC finishers placed 9yds of concrete for the U.V. building channel
decks. Labor crew worked making SWPPP repairs throughout the plant site. Carpenters
began installing the acoustical louvers for the Odor Control building. Carpenters continued to
install wall forms for the Aeration outfall box. Finishers placed 30yds of concrete for the
center southeast Aeration jumper wall. Field test were conducted; A/E=4.4, SL=3-inch,
Temp=76 degrees. Super–P was added to the mix for placement. Carpenters continued
installing shoring package for the Clarifier drive deck. Operators began excavating for the 30-
inch Headworks influent pipe road crossing.

Saturday, 10-24-09,
MFCC pipefitters continued placement of the 30-inch influent piping
across the main access road. They also continued placement of the 6-inch drain piping from
MH-7 TO MH-6 across the main road.

Electrique Corporation: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 1 Foreman, 2 Helpers
E.C. worked all week installing conduits for lighting and receptacles in the Odor Control
building.

Midwest Coatings: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendant, 1 Foreman, 1 Painter
Midwest Coatings worked installing plastic wrapping for the Headworks building steel. They
continued priming the interior CMU walls of the Headworks building.

Jocon Incorporated Building Erectors: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendant, 1 Foreman, 5 Ironworkers
Jocon Inc. has received the structural steel for the Blower building. They have begun to erect
the columns. They installed the ridge cap for the Filter building.

DMG Masonry: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendant, 2 Foremen, 10 Masons
DMG completed power washing the brick veneer on the north side of the Headworks
building. They continued installing the brick veneer for the east wall of the Headworks
building.

Henley Construction: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendant, 1 Foreman, 2 Masons
Henley worked on the middle of wall-B and installed one course of block.
building.
