Contract III: Pump Station

Summary of Work Performed this week: 10/30/2009

Carson & Associates, Inc.: General Contractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 1 Foreman, 1 Operator, 3 Laborers
Carson & Associates performed minor cleanup work and repaired SWPPP issues as noted on
the SWPPP Inspection Form dated 10/26/09. The SWPPP Construction Site Notice has been
posted at the site entrance. They replaced the Construction Sign taken down during the
construction by S.J. Louis and placed the SWPPP Mailbox. They received the MCC and Bar
Screen and have placed the MCC in the new Electrical Room. C&A began removing the wet
well grating imbeds. They continued installing ventilation systems for the wet well confined
space entrance and continued pressure washing the walls. C&A pulled the existing 150 HP
Pump on the south end of the wet well and have partially plugged the wet well. On
Thursday and Friday, Carson & Associates performed no work.

Harvill Byrd: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 2 Laborers
Harvill Byrd continued minor demo work of the existing electrical in the Generator room and
began installation and connection to the new Motor Control Center (MCC).

Rain for Rent: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 0 Laborers
Rain for Rent was onsite for inspection of the Bypass system.

Other Notes:
S.J. Louis continued access through the LMPS’s Northwest gate and delivered
Pipe and Manholes. S.J. Louis is reminded of their speed throughout the site and 5 MPH
Speed Limit signs have been posted. LRW Maintenance was onsite to remove hydraulics
from the existing Grinder.
