Contract III: Pump Station
Summary of Work Performed this week: 11/14/2009
Carson & Associates, Inc.: General Contractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 1 Foreman, 1 Operator, 3 Laborers
Carson & Associates performed a minor cleanup. They removed the existing electrical panel and hardware from the channel grinder. Crews were able to get the proper pumps to pump the remainder of the wet well down. They began pressure washing the bottom of the wet well. They continued demo work of existing generator misc. parts to be delivered to LRW the morning of November 11, 2009 along with some MCC panels. C&A has hired Hill Services (3 men crew) for vacuum pumping of sludge and sand from the wet well. They completed removal of all sand and grit form from the wet well.
Harvill Byrd: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 2 Laborers
Harvill Byrd continued disconnection and removal of the existing pump starters at the MCC and rerouting electrical to the new MCC.
Rain for Rent: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 5 Laborers
Rain for Rent delivered temporary diesel pump for pumping of the wet well for the wet well work and performed routine maintenance on the Bypass Pumps.
Arkansas Coring and Drilling, Inc: Subcontractor
Workforce/Manpower: 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 4 Laborers
Arkansas Coring and Drilling, Inc. delivered the 54-inch and 36-inch cores and began coring the 36-inch core and the 54-inch core at the Bypass and wet well.
Edwards Metal, Inc: Subcontractor 1 Superintendent, 0 Foremen, 0 Operators, 1 Laborer
Edwards Metal, Inc. continued placement of the interior HVAC ductwork in the electrical room.
Other Notes:
S.J. Louis accessed through the LMPS to deliver rock, pipe, and manhole. Dale Gilbert (LRW) was onsite for disconnection of the existing misc electrical. November 09 Monthly Meeting was held on Wednesday at the LMPS.
