Contract III: Pump Station

Summary of Work Performed this week: 09/12/2009

Carson & Associates, Inc.: General Contractor Carson & Associates oversaw work listed below and performed minor site cleanup.

Harvill Byrd: Subcontractor Harvill Byrd continued fabrication of the onsite electrical to the 24-inch Electric Actuated Plug Valve and prepared for pulling wires Bar Screen/Conveyor Control Panel. HB placed electrical stub-ups for the Bar Screen/Conveyor Control Panel and for the SCADA.

Howell Utility: Subcontractor Howell Utility worked in coordination with JCS Concrete Specialists for removing forms from the HVAC sidewalk, trash bin equipment slab, and Metering Station equipment slab. Howell Utility completed compacting SB2 for the Pig Station. GHBW was onsite for testing. All tests passed within specifications. HU tested the remaining 8-inch, 18-inch, and 24-inch line, to just north about 10-feet of the existing flow meter manhole. All tests passed within specifications. HU excavated and compacted SB2 for the both Overhead Crain footings.

Rain For Rent: Subcontractor On Wednesday, Rain for Rent was onsite for observation of the Bypass system.

Edwards Metal Inc.: Subcontractor Edwards Metal, Inc. unloaded materials and prepared for placement of the HVAC ductwork.

JCS Concrete Specialists: Subcontractor JCS Concrete Specialists performed minor cleanup and removed forms from the HVAC sidewalk, trash bin equipment slab, and Metering Station equipment slab. JCS Concrete Specialists prepared for placement of the rebar and formwork for Pig Station equipment slab.
