Contract III: Pump Station
Summary of Work Performed this week: 09/19/2009
Carson & Associates, Inc.: General Contractor
Carson & Associates oversaw work listed below and tied rebar for the Bridge Crane spread footings and piers. C&A began doweling the rebar into 30-inch core into the Valve Vault and wet well and into the four 18-inch wall penetrations in CPR No.4.
Harvill Byrd: Subcontractor
Harvill Byrd performed minor fabrication of the electrical conduits and pulled wire to the Metering Station. HB continued placement of conduit from the existing SCADA to the new SCADA.
Howell Utility: Subcontractor
Howell Utility began excavating for the 24-inch DIP Retaining Wall and placing forms for the Bridge Crain Spread Footings. HU placed the Bride Crane Spread Footings rebar and poured 6yd3 at 10:30 a.m. GHBW was onsite for testing. All tests were within specifications. Howell Utility worked in coordination with Arkansas Coring and Drilling, Inc. for removing concrete of the existing the 18-inch DIP at the Valve Vault. They have placed the two south 24-inch tees and the middle 24-inch tee and have placed the 18-inch DIP through the 30-inch Valve Vault and wet well cores and connected with the 18-inch plug and check valve.
Covington Roofing and Sheetmetal: Subcontractor
Covington Roofing and Sheetmetal delivered jacks for the HVAC support and began placing roof flashing.
Edwards Metal Inc.: Subcontractor
Edwards Metal, Inc. continued placement of HVAC return and supply plenums.
JCS Concrete Specialists: Subcontractor
JCS Concrete Specialists was onsite to take measurements for the 24-inch DIP Retaining Wall.

Arkansas Coring and Drilling, Inc.: Subcontractor
Arkansas Coring and Drilling, Inc. completed removing the existing concrete around the existing 18-inch DIP into the Valve Vault for Howell Utility to begin making repairs and replacing the DIP as approved in CPR No. 4 and CO No. 1
