Cindy Miller graduated from the University of Arkansas Fayetteville in 1972. Afterward, she pursued post-graduate work in Secondary Education. Her work experience includes being the State Field Director for Arkansas for Al Gore for President from 1987 to 1988. She worked for the Arkansas General Assembly as the House and Senate Bill Clerk from 1985 to 1994. For the Arkansas Court of Appeals she worked as Executive Assistant to Chief Judge John F. Stroud, Jr. from 1996 to 2004 and Administrative Assistant to Judge David M. Glover from 2005 to present. She is also currently working as an Arkansas Consultant for the Sturgis Educational and Charitable Trust at Bank of America in Dallas, TX. She has served her community as President of Junior League of Little Rock, Chairman to the Arkansas Art Center, Board member for Riverfest, Board member for Bess Chissum Stephens YWCA, Board member for Little Rock City Beautiful Commission, Editor of “Traditions” cookbook by Junior League of Little Rock, Arkansas Delegate for the Democratic National Convention (1988), Board member for Pulaski County Heart Association, Chairman of the Residential Campaign Drive for the American Heart Association, Chairman of the Heart Ball put on by the American Heart Association, President of Greater Little Rock Pi Beta Phi Alumnae, Future Planning Committee for the University of Arkansas Alumni Association, Chairman for the Funds for Fashion for the Arkansas Special Olympics, Chairman for the All Sports Program for the Catholic High School Booster Club, Co-President of Mt. St. Mary's Academy for Girls Spirit Booster Club, President of Forest Park PTA, Vice President of AR Repertory Theatre Auxiliary, Board member for Little Rock Boys Club Auxiliary, Chairman to the Episcopal Diocese of AR Annual Convention (2007), and she is a Vestry Member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Her current term expires December 1, 2011.
