Dale Wintroath retired from Regions Financial
Corporation in January 2002 after working for Regions
and its predecessor organizations since June of 1973. A
California native who graduated from the University of
Memphis with a teaching degree in 1962, Dale served
three and one-half years in the Navy and taught school
one semester before he returned to school at the
University of Memphis and graduated in 1969 with a Juris Doctorate
degree from the School of Law. He then served as a
Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation
from 1969 to 1973, when he embarked on his trust banking
career. He is a graduate of the Southwestern School of
Banking at SMU, where he also taught fiduciary law. Dale
has been the President of the Central Arkansas Estate
Council, President of the Trust section of the Arkansas
Bankers Association, Chairman and Director of the Suzuki
Institute of Musical Training, President of the Greater
Little Rock Sierra Club, Chairman of the Presidents
Council of Subiaco Abbey. He is married and has two children and three
grandchildren.
