Your Little Rock Wastewater provides several functions along
with multiple layers of services within each.
The Information Services Division is a service organization
within LRW which exists to serve the technology needs of the
LRW. This three-department division is managed by Bryan Bull,
Director of Information Services, and includes Database/Application
Administration, Network Administration and Instrumentation.
IS, as it is referred to within LRW, is responsible for a
wide variety of technological equipment and service functions.
The Database/Application Administration group implements and
maintains all database driven applications such as Work Order
Management, Financial Management, SCADA (Supervisor Control
And Data Acquisition), LIMS (Laboratory Information Management
System), as well as a host of other software and databases
necessary to operate LRW.
The Network Administration
group is responsible for all hardware and software necessary
to interconnect four sites located throughout the city of
Little Rock. Additionally, this group provides functional,
up-to-date workstations for all users.
The Instrumentation
group is responsible for a multitude of disciplines including
automation of operational plant equipment and programmable
logic controllers at select pump stations throughout the city.
It also provides support of phone systems, two-way radios
and other wireless communications equipment and various other
functions.
A vital component of the ongoing operations
of LRW, Information Services acts as a true partner in supporting
wastewater services to the citizens of Little Rock.
